1. Don't Exfoliate. Since a chemical peel is essentially a deep exfoliation, you shouldn't exfoliate your skin for about a week leading up to your chemical peel. 

2. Stay hydrated 

3. Avoid other cosmetic procedures

4. Give yourself time

5. Discuss with a Skin Care Specialist

1. Avoid direct sun exposure and excessive heat.

Important: Keep your skin hydrated. Hydration is key to proper healing.

2. DO NOT cleanse your skin in the evening of your peel or treatment or pick any flaking skin

3. DO NOT have electrolysis, waxing, threading or any other form of hair removal for 7 days post treatment

4. DO NOT use facial scrubs, mechanical forms of exfoliation, retinoic acid, AHA or BHA for 14 days post peel

5. DO NOT have laser hair removal, photo-facials, chemical peels or microdermabrasion for 14 days post peel.

6. DO NOT apply ice or ice water on the treated area

7. DO NOT use hot tubs, steam rooms, saunas, and/or excessively hot showers for 2 days post peel.

8. DO NOT go swimming or participate in aerobic exercise for 2 days post peel.
